Portrait Night (Coming Soon!)
This craft night is for those of you who want to stretch your creative muscles with no pressure or concerns for the final product. Years ago I started a series entitled “BlockHeads,” this started as a way to give insight into the creative play that is so important in my own work. As an artist with many interests I have dabbled in photography, ceramics, drawing and these simple tasks allow me to flex my creative muscles without in a freeform manor. The creation of these masks and headpieces is something I do when I am feeling creatively restless to get those creative brain waves crashing and inspire new works. That’s why these are not meant to be taking seriously, they are mean to be silly and leave the creator with a fun portrait for their walls. So join me for a night with drinks, crafting, and a little insight into my own process as I guide you through construction techniques, composition, and maybe some modeling tips. By the end of the night everyone will have a fun portrait of themselves with or wearing creation.
11x14 archival prints will be shipped the following week do to the printer being heavy and cumbersome size of the printer. Digital files will be available the next day.
